IFA 2024: If you want to customize your home with colored lights, Govee’s IFA announcements have you covered from every angle
Govee has announced a couple of new product additions to its flagship LED strip light portfolio at consumer electronics show IFA, including the Govee Strip Light 2 Pro and the COB Strip Light Pro, alongside a couple of extra lighting solutions.
The Govee Strip Light 2 Pro is powered by the company’s new LuminBlend Color Control System, designed to “set the standard” for great color performance.
It’s said the Strip Light 2 Pro enhances 16-bit signal analysis and five-way color-control for advanced RGB color depth and accuracy, while the upgraded 5-in-1 RGBWW light beads and color blending algorithm ensure precise color rendering, especially at lighter shades.
Customization is the name of the game with the Govee Strip Light 2 Pro, with the option to segment up to 10 sections per meter for personalized lighting effects. There are 100 preset scene modes too however, 16 music modes and the Strip Pro 2 is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Matter.
The Govee COB Strip Light Pro meanwhile, is the company’s first COB lighting solution, designed to deliver brighter and more fluid lighting effects. Featuring RGBICW LEDs, the Govee COB Strip Light Pro is encased in a silicone exterior and delivers diffused light with 12 customizable segments per meter.
It can be trimmed to fit whatever space you’re looking to add some light to, and you can control the colors, brightness, effects and modes through the Govee Home App. Like the Govee Strip Light 2 Pro, the Govee COB Strip Light Pro is also compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Matter.
Alongside the two new strip lights, Govee also announced the Govee Curtain Light 2, alongside the Holiday Lights Collection and the Star Light Projector (Aurora).
The Curtain Light 2 has updated pattern display abilities and introduces the company’s first artificial intelligence-generated content (AIGC) integration for DIY mode.
The Holiday Lights Collection meanwhile, is designed to give Danny DeVito in Deck the Halls everything he dreamed of with the range consisting of Christmas String Lights 2, Icicle Lights, Net Lights, Christmas Cone Lights and Christmas Tree Lights.
The Govee Star Light Projector (Aurora) meanwhile, is designed to bring the Northern Lights to your home with a dual lamp bead system projector that covers up to 650-feet squared with three flowing effects, 16 million color options and 50 preset scene modes.
