First revealed back in January at CES, GE Electric has announced that its Reveal HD+ Smart Undercabinet Fixtures are now available.
GE Lighting, which comes under the Savant banner following a 2020 acquisition, tells us that these new smart lights first and only full color and edge-lit smart undercabinet lights, and who are we to argue with that, eh?
They come in bar light and puck shapes and up to 10 fixtures can be connected for a robust lighting solution, offering millions of color options, including a full range of whites.
You can plug them in, or hardwire them; they can be easily installed with captive screws and could be an easy way to instantly transform the mood and ambiance of your kitchen.

The bar light option comes in three sizes: 12-inch, 18-inch and 24-inch and the pucks measure in at 3-inch diameter.
The big news, on the connectivity front, is that these Wi-Fi smart lights are Matter compatible, so you should be able to get them singing and dancing in harmony with the rest of your smart home… because Matter just works, right? Right?
Outside of Matter, they’ll also work with Amazon Alexa and Google Home smart home ecosystems.
Back at CES, Savant told us that Cync is set to introduce a total of 20 Matter-compatible products in 2024.
This includes existing devices such as the Cync Direct Connect Full Color Smart Bulb and Cync Smart Indoor Plug, alongside the launch of 18 new products, so there’s plenty more to come.
Savant also used CES to reveal that Cync smart lights will be able to be controlled natively within a Savant smart home system, with users in North America having the ability to incorporate Cync products into their professionally installed ecosystems at some point in 2024.
